Scanacon Acid Circulation System ACS

The Scanacon Acid Circulation System (ACS) is a custom-engineered solution for pickling and etching processes, designed for retrofitting existing process tanks or for new installations. The ACS uses a unique nozzle and manifold design to efficiently circulate the process tank at up to 30 tank volumes per hour, without sacrificing efficiency or increasing evaporate loss, acidic gas (NOx/SOx) emissions or process piping. With its cost-effective design, the ACS ensures that energy consumption and demand from pumps remain at a minimum, delivering a high-performance system without excessive costs.

Continuous Acid Dosing CADOS

The Scanacon CADOS systems are designed to interface with the main distributed control system (DCS) of the finishing line to provide automatic, continuous acid dosing based on the production rate. This feature ensures that acid addition is closely aligned with production requirements, improving process stability and efficiency. Additionally, the CADOS system can be interfaced with a Scanacon acid analyzer to provide precise control of acid concentrations. This integration enables the system to make precise acid addition decisions based on both production data (tonnage, surface area) and real-time acid concentration measurements, providing a more comprehensive and accurate approach to acid control.
